As music industry professionals we understand the importance of hands-on experience. We also understand how hard it can be to acquire. Here at Shockerwick Studios we’re proud to offer the opportunity for budding sound engineers and producers to be taught the skills, tricks and knowledge required to work within today’s industry. From school students looking for a first taste of studio recording to veterans of home studio production we offer personal hands-on courses led by industry-trained professionals that are tailored to the individual’s needs. Our courses typically last two days (16 hours) and fall under three general categories:

Mixing and Mastering

Focusing on either Logic Pro X or ProTools 12, this course will look at setting up sessions, metering, effective use of plugins, professional editing practices, workflow hints and tricks, basic synthesis and MIDI.
